Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

How does SiteShift handle double-bookings or manual overlaps?

While SiteShift flags conflicts automatically, Site Managers have full manual override authority to authorize double-bookings (e.g. shared loading bay or telehandler offload) with a mandatory justification recorded in the permanent audit trail.

Do subcontractors need to install an app from the App Store?

No. SiteShift is built as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Subcontractors simply open www.siteshift.com.au on their phone and can optionally tap "Add to Home Screen" for instant native-like access without App Store passwords or downloads.

How does the Google Sheets backup work?

A background Node-cron job executes every 15 minutes during site operating hours. It formats all database bookings, resources, and gate check-ins and pushes them directly to the builder's designated Google Sheet using the official Google Sheets API.
